We had a wonderful day, everything went so smoothly, the weather was perfect, the company was great, I didn't have to wash up and we have plenty of leftovers to feed us through to next week.

Hope you and your family had a wonderful day too.

Now for a day of sleeping, reading, eating Christmas goodies, chatting, maybe even some knitting all with the background noise of cricket on the TV.
Enjoy!

  1. Your Christmas Day looks like it was so lovely, we had to hibernate inside with the airconiditoner here in Perth, it was really really hot, and even hotter today! So no knitting here for a while! Your family look wonderful, what beautiful photos. I hope 2008 will be a blessed year for you.

  2. Jenny, Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us. Isn´t this such a lovely time of celebration with loved ones? We had similar fun and truely enjoyed our day here, in South America. My husband is Mexican and it is the tradition in Mexico to have Tamales during the Christmas season, so we have had more than our share this season. It´s a good thing it´s only one time per year, but oh they are sooo good. Blessings to you and your precious family. Colleen

  5. Those are lovely photographs of your family Christmas, you all look very happy and relaxed in the sunshine.
Yesterday was cold, wet and grey so the complete opposite but we also had a good day.
Enjoy the rest of the festive season.

  6. Jenny,

Thanks for sharing your holiday photos. It is so fun that you are able to sit outside on Christmas Day instead of gathering around a fireplace! I like both scenarios.

I have a question for you. What material do you use for stuffing your dolls and where do you get it? I just knitted some cotton animals and the pattern said to stuff with "environmentally friendly" materials. I'm sure that does not include polyester fiberfill! Your dolls are just gorgeous.
